Sun City Anthem AED (Automated External Defibrillator) Locations

In the event of a cardiac arrest, bystanders performing CPR, and when available, using an AED increase the chances of survival. There are nine defibrillators located within Sun City Anthem public spaces. They are all placed in a clearly marked box attached to a wall, with "AED" signs on it. Below are the specific locations of these AEDs:

  2. In the main entrance gallery: on the wall across from the restaurant entrance near Emerson Franklin Meeting Space.

  4. In the Delaware Room: Diagonal from the main entrance to the room, on the back corner.

Independence Center

  2. In the theater/meeting space area: Near the Penn Meeting Room, towards the exit from Woodchips Wood Shop.

Liberty Center

  2. In the meeting space area: On the wall directly opposite from the kitchen

Anthem Tennis/Bocce Courts Area

It is quite easy to use a defibrillator, however it may be intimidating for those without medical training. EPSG offers monthly small classes educating the residents on "Hands-Only CPR and How to Use an AED" which offers practice on training devices. Please visit Emergency Preparedness Training & Education on the home page or send an email to EPSG Training & Education for further information.

You can also find CPR/AED classes offered through local organizations such as The American Red Cross, or City of Henderson. These simple classes help participants overcome the anxiety in cardiac arrest situations and take action - which can help saves lives. You can also look online for simple videos on "How to do Hands-Only CPR" and "How to Use a Defibrillator"
